1. d4 2. d5 3. c4 4. c6 5. Nf3 6. Nf6 7. Nc3 8. dxc4 9. e4 10. b5 11. e5This opening begins with the standard d4 d5 c4 c6, but takes a sharp turn with Nf3 Nf6 Nc3 dxc4 e4 b5, where White opts to play the Geller Gambit by pushing e5 to attack Black's knight on f6. This move not only gains space in the center but also opens up lines for White's pieces to become active. Black has to decide whether to accept the gambit pawn or retreat the knight, both of which lead to complex positions with chances for both sides. White aims to quickly develop pieces and launch an attack on Black's king, while Black must defend carefully and try to consolidate the extra pawn. The resulting positions are dynamic and require precise play from both sides to navigate the tactical complexities. Overall, the Geller Gambit is a sharp and double-edged opening that can lead to exciting and unbalanced positions for players of both colors.
